Farewell Ed Malloy, Former BCTC of Greater New York President Passes Away

Longtime labor leader Edward Malloy has died at age 77 following a battle with cancer.

A member of the steamfitters' union, Malloy served as president of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Greater New York from 1992 to 2008.

For those interested, the Wake for Ed Malloy will be on Thursday, May 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Malloy's family suggests donations to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the NY Helmets to Hardhats Program.
